Emergency Services Center

The 25,000-square-foot Pueblo County Emergency Services Center is a two-story steel and masonry facility serving as an emergency operations center for Southern Colorado and a backup to the state’s primary operations center in Denver. The high-tech facility includes a 100-person community conference room, advanced visual and communications technology, and a portion designed to meet IECC 500 storm shelter requirements. The project was funded by FEMA through the Colorado Chemical Stockpile Depot decommissioning program.
