Description:This project consisted of construction of a new one-story elementary school of UBC 88, Type II, one-hour construction, including sitework and site utilities, landscaping and irrigation.  This included a seven-acre site, fully developed playground, soccer/softball fields, 48,000 gsf one-level, 3-track, K-6 elementary school with the latest in integrated central audio-visual VCR service to each classroom.  Special science lab room and combined media center/computer classroom areas were included.  The building is made up of load-bearing brick, single-wythe, insulated exterior walls and large “greenhouse” windows in each classroom.
