This new 25,000 sf Emergency Services Center consisted of design of a two-story steel and masonry structure (with a portion of the building meeting IECC 500 Storm Shelter requirements), site work and landscaping. This building serves as an emergency center for the southern Colorado region and a backup to Denver’s main site for Colorado. The facility includes a community conference room for 100 people, ESC staff offices, training/media briefing areas, State Environmental Protection offices, Public Safety IT offices, and 911 Communications Center.
