|Description:||This project consisted of a new 7,000 sf one-story office building with a state-of-the-art conference room utilizing speakers, teleconferencing, microphones and an overhead projector. Video conferencing and networking are provided throughout building with T-1 lines and the building was wired for future fiber optics. The foundation system is comprised caissons and grade beams. The floor is slab-on-grade concrete over 3 ft of select fill. Exterior walls are of 8” load-bearing decorative block. Sloped, pre-engineered trusses span the entire office space. Interior partitions are metal studs and drywall.|
The building included a boardroom, six offices, workroom, resource room, vault, kitchen area, restrooms, storage areas and reception area. Site work included a detention pond and xeriscape landscaping utilizing native grasses.
