The Crawford Townhomes are the third phase of redevelopment replacing the 1950s-era Sangre de Cristo Homes. The project includes 12 buildings with 49 units: eight one-bedroom, 27 two-bedroom, 12 three-bedroom, and two four-bedroom homes. Each unit type includes an accessible Type A unit, with Type B units providing accessible visitor paths and first-floor accessible bathrooms in two-story homes.
Site improvements include new stormwater quality and detention systems, shared green spaces, and private entry and rear patio areas. Roundabouts and smaller private streets create a pedestrian-friendly, traffic-calmed residential community designed to foster a welcoming neighborhood environment.
